GEC Alsthom Large Machines Ltd is part of the GEC empire. This division manufactures very large electric motors and generators for use internationally.

Solution
Tailor Made Software wrote a comprehensive Windows Enquiry Logging and Tender Production program, for running on their network of PCs. This enables sales staff to enter customer enquiries straight onto a networked database. Once all the details have been collected the Sales Engineer is able to produce first class customised Tender documents, with some paragraphs selected automatically, and others selected manually from a list of standard paragraphs. The program incorporates the following key features:
