Support Examples
The following examples show the sort of problems that can
occur after a bespoke program is installed, and how good
support is essential.
A new business opportunity has occurred and you urgently
need to analyse your data in a new way.
If the application is written in a proprietary language
and/or the original software house will not provide support
you are in trouble, with Tailor Made Software you
have these options:
Ask
us to produce the report for you - we could probably modem
or email a program amendment to you within hours.
Directly
access the non-proprietary data format to extract the data
yourself using a spreadsheet.
Ask
a third party to help. If for any reason you could not do
the job yourself, and needed to ask a third party for help,
there should be no difficulty. With industry standard tools
we use, plus the source code, any competent programmer could
step in.
A pre-printed form that your application fills-in has
changed, you need the program to work with the new form.
